LaGuardia Community College is transitioning from Blackboard to Brightspace starting in Fall 2025. Brightspace by D2L is a modern Learning Management System that provides a more flexible and user-friendly interface for managing courses, assignments, and communication. On this Resource Site, you will find the tools you need to successfully navigate Brightspace to ensure a smooth transition.

Accessing Brightspace

  • Open Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome and go to brightspace.cuny.edu. Alternatively, click here and choose Brightspace.
  • Enter your CUNY Login credentials (@login.cuny.edu) in the login window.
  • If needed, click “Forgot Username” or “Forgot Password” and follow the prompts.
